UK provider Vodafone has listed the dual-core HTC Sensation handset on its website. The carrier promises to deliver pre-orders by May 19, with those who opt for a minimum 35 ($58) per month plan getting the handset free. Highlight features of the phone include its dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor and its 4.3-inch, 540x960 display.
Its eight-megapixel camera is similar to earlier models but can record 1080p video with the extra performance underneath. The phone gets just 4GB of built-in memory, but more can be added in the form of microSD cards. It should be HTC's first shipping phone with Android 2.3 and the newly enhanced Sense 3.0 interface.
Other European carriers are expected to get the device soon thereafter, with T-Mobile USA also due to get the device, likely sometime this summer. Sprint is getting it in modified form as the Evo 3D.
