More leaked photos and a video of Nintendo's 3DS have surfaced, providing a few details about the first major update to the handheld system since its debut in 2004. The photos show the 3DS will have 96MB RAM, an SD card slot, and an upgraded battery rated at 1,300mAh. A few minor tweaks also seem to have been made from the system seen in earlier photos, bringing the Select, Home, and Start buttons flush with the touchscreen's surface.
Nintendo plans to launch the 3DS in Japan on February 26 for the equivalent of $300. Details for the North American launch are expected on January 19, and it should be accompanied by a March release.
